Responsible for the complete and accurate shipping of all products, Responsible for reporting accuracy of all shipping transactions in ERP system. Supports goals and continued improvement of PDC. Prepare appropriate documentation for shipments. Ownership of basic 5S and housekeeping for area.\nResponsibilities:\nReceives instruction, guidance, and direction for production.\n\nMeets picking and packing expectations.\n\nUnpacks and examines incoming shipments for non-conformity and escalates to appropriate leadership.\n\nPerforms routine assignments.\n\nDemonstrates responsibility for attendance, quality, and attention to detail.\n\nInserts items into containers using spacers, fillers, and protective padding.\n\nUses company equipment and materials properly.\n\nStrives to increase productivity.\n\nApproaches others in a tactful manner, treats others with respect and consideration regardless of status or position.\n\nAccepts responsibility for own actions, follows through on commitments.\n\nParticipate in team meetings and exchange job related information.\n\nRequirements:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent\n\n0-2 years of experience.\n\nDetail oriented and organized.\n\nAdditional Qualifications:\nAbility to effectively communicate\nContributes to identifying problems and implementing appropriate countermeasures.\nAbility to understand and execute basic standard procedures\nAbility to perform basic reading, writing, and math functions.\nAbility to perform basic assembly skills.\nAbility to effectively work in a team environment.\nModels positive and professional work ethics.\nAbility to use basic hand tools\nAbility to interpret basic visual diagrams\nClimb ladder\nAble to learn ERP on scan gun and operate proficiently \nAbility to learn, operate, and obtain license for the use of a work-assist vehicle\nProcess orders quickly and efficiently to meet customer demands\nBasic computer knowledge\nPhysical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus.
