The Parts Specialist also ensures that materials are placed in their proper locations and are available for issue when needed.\nResponsibilities:\nReceive incoming material & equipment (withforkliftas needed) and verify packing slips and goods received against purchase orders.\n\nPick up anddeliver parts for customers and vendors as needed.\n\nStore materials in system-designated locations or areas formaximuminventory control and accountability.\n\nOrganize and continuallyconsolidateinventory to maximize efficiency.\n\nMaintain rack/shelf accessibility at all times.\n\nPerform cycle count and activities as scheduled, reconciling all discrepancies.\n\nPerform daily computer transactions for all material movements in and out of the stockroom.\n\nMaintain a neat and clean work environment including facility,yardand shop.\n\nOperate various material handling equipment, including forklift, pallet, and other material handling equipment as specified.\n\nShuttlefleetvehicles to the local vehicle maintenance shop as needed.\n\nHelp warehouse team with facility projects, pressure wash equipment as needed, daily trash and recycling removal from warehouse.\n\nTravel in company vehicles to remote warehouse storage sites (during normal work hours) to perform monthly cycle counts and organize stockrooms as needed.\n\nParticipate in problem-solving and other work improvement efforts.\n\nPick up inventory against kit list requirements from service delivery schedules as needed.\n\nMake emergency deliveries in company vehicles during and after hours if needed.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh School Diplomaor GED\n\nValid Driver’s License\n\nTwoyears ofrelated experience in delivering parts and equipment.\n\nTwo years warehouse/stockroom environment.\n\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\n\nExcellent computer skills with Microsoft Office products and data/web-based systems.\n\nAbility to drive a box truck.\n\nAbility tooperatea forklift.\n\nDemonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.\n\nPreferred Job Requirements\nForklift Operator Certification/PIT License or the ability to obtain certification upon hire.\n\nMedical Certification Card (DOT); or the ability to obtain certification upon hire.\n\nPhysical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employeeis regularly required tostand. The employee isfrequentlyrequired to use hands to manipulate objects, tools, or controls; and to talk and hear. The employeeis regularly required towalk, stoop, crouch,bendand reach above shoulders.
