We are a full-service distributor of Generac equipment and solutions providingsales, service and rentals.\nWe are looking for a Service Coordinator to join the Dispatch team at our Zeeland, Michigan, location!\nThe Service Coordinator position will be responsible for creating jobs, answering incoming service calls, dispatching the technicians, maintaining the job calendar (tech schedules), and managing overall administrative workflow for the Service Department.\nResponsibilities:\nCreating jobs, answering incoming phone calls, and assisting with the scheduling of technicians\n\nScheduling preventative maintenance and repairs with customers\n\nUse specific customer portals as needed to manage all open work orders\n\nTracking open jobs and seeing them through to completion\n\nMeeting with the service operations team regularly\n\nSupport of other Service departmental roles on an as-needed basis\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or G.E.D.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nOne to three years of administrative experience in a service-related business\n\nOne to three years of scheduling field technicians and/or customer service\n\nPhysical Demands:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
