This role ensures successful system migrations, upgrades, maintenance, and documentation, while delivering accurate metric reporting and dashboards. This role collaborates with key stakeholders to capture the Voice of the Customer (VOC), supports users through training and documentation, and identifies opportunities to enhance system performance and user experience by recommending solutions to leadership.\n*This is an onsite role at our headquarters in Waukesha, Wisconsin\nMajor Responsibilities\nDrives results that are specifically targeted to support engineering, manufacturing, and different business groups\n\nEffectively manages the processes and support documentation regarding the Software Systems\n\nAnalyzes, develops, writes and maintains code for reporting performance metrics with input from engineering and business groups\n\nWorks with leaders and stakeholders to understand areas of improvement regarding the software systems and supporting processes\n\nDevelops and trains software users\n\nEngages in and supports the indirect business processes as they relate to user interaction with the software\n\nFosters collaboration between engineering groups to identify and harvest new engineering concepts, technologies, techniques, standards and procedures\n\nMinimum Job Requirements\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Any Engineering or equivalent experience\n\nWork Experience\n5 years of software administration experience\n\nLead at least one Large Software system Upgrade / Migration of 100+ end users\n\nHas been responsible for managing at least 5 software platforms\n\nKnowledge / Skills / Abilities\nProficient in Visual Studio and at least two programming languages, Python, C#, C++, Java, Go, Rust, etc.\n\nAbility to deliver results while working on multiple projects simultaneously, balancing resources, timing and quality of outcomes.\n\nDemonstrated strong collaboration skills\n\nSolid understanding of engineering technical issues/needs as related to development cycles and operation workflows.\n\nPreferred Job Requirements\nWork Experience\nExperience with Engineering Software Systems, QA Trax, LabView, Nation Instruments, High Speed Data Collection Systems\n\nWorked with Large Data Collection Systems at Enterprise Level\n\nManaged SQL databases,\n\nWorking with Git & GitHub, specifically in creating workflows\n\nHas built some software system from scratch or became SME in a custom software system\n\nKnowledge / Skills / Abilities\nGood communication skills & has supported engineers / technical groups from a software standpoint.\n\nRegularly uses AI to write and modify code, GitHub Co-Pilot or Claude Code\n\nSelf-driven, highly motivated, flexible and high capacity to learn.\n\n#LI - BB1\nPhysical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.
