We are a full-service distributor of Generac equipment and solutions providing sales, service and rentals.\nMajor Responsibilities\nEnsure timely scheduling and follow-up of work to achieve maximum efficiencies and customer satisfaction based on job status and company procedures.\nMonitor for consistency of task completion within the service coordinator team and coordinate with other Service Coordinator Supervisors.\nEnsuring jobs/work orders are completed on time and within quoted amounts and timeframes\nInvoicing completed work orders while monitoring GP goals\nReceive service quotes from Operations Department and service customers according to established service quote procedures\nQuoting service repair jobs and recommended repairs\nWeekly Reporting of Invoicing, Receivables and Expenses of Service Department\nMaintain an up-to-date knowledge of generator system technology, including competitive industries\nInteract with customers on a regular basis regarding service needs, confirmation of appointments, service quotes, approval for work, and follow-up needs.\nResearch and reply to customer disputes.\nOversee scheduling of startups in branch service area.\nConfirm availability of parts and special equipment required for successful completion of service job.\nSupport of other Service departmental roles on an as needed basis\nManage and lead a team of Service Coordinators, supporting them in daily tasks and with career development. \nPerform Service Coordinator duties as needed, including but not limited to: Schedule all field and service maintenance and repair of industrials, residential, and portable generators according to established dispatch procedures to ensure timely and accurate schedules of work.\nMinimum Job Requirements\nEducation\nAssociates or Bachelors degree in related field (or equivalent experience) \nWork Experience\n1-2 years supervising a team in one or more of the following areas: retail, education, rental, military, hospitality management, rental, or other commercial service operation.\nKnowledge / Skills / Abilities\nComputer literacy is required, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel) \nGeneral knowledge of service parts and the service industry, including but not limited to basic mechanical and technical aptitude. \nIncorporate time management skills by prioritizing work assignments. \nProven interpersonal skills with both internal and external customers, including being a team player to create synergy within the office and company. \nMust be able to handle high-pressure situations. \nMust have strong attention to detail\nCustomer satisfaction and mediation strategies.\nMust have basic math skills for computing percentages, multipliers, sales tax, and totals on parts orders. \nPreferred Job Requirements\nEducation\nBachelor’s Degree in Business; Degree in Diesel Technology or a related field \nWork Experience\n2-4 years supervising a team in one or more of the following areas: retail, education, rental, military, hospitality management, rental, or other commercial service operation.\nKnowledge / Skills / Abilities\nWorking knowledge of business enterprise systems (e.g. FieldServio, SAP, etc.) \nProficiency in schematic and service documentation \nPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee frequently is required to use their hands to manipulate objects, tools, or controls; and talk and hear. The employee is regularly required to walk; stoop; crouch; bend and reach above the shoulders. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance, waist high, up to 10 feet away. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. The employee must comply with the assigned location PPE requirements including but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, appropriate gloves, clothing, and shields for required tasks, and closed-toed or safety shoes as required by facility safety policies. The employee must be able to work in varying weather conditions including extreme heat, snow, and ice. The employee must be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card, and the ability to drive a heavy-duty truck on a daily basis.\nCompensation:\nGenerac is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The annual salary for this role is $72,000-85,000. This compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
