This role partners closely with suppliers to strengthen quality systems and improve performance, while leading problem resolution efforts through root cause analysis and corrective action using 8D methodologies\nResponsibilities:\nManages supplier quality performance to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) using SQ tools and resources\n\nProvides supplier guidance and understanding of our supplier’s expectations and objectives\n\nSupports New Product Introduction and Global Sourcing PPAP projects\n\nPerforms New Supplier Risk Assessments and Supplier Quality Audits\n\nLeads Supplier Quality Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR), Safe Launch Plan (SLP), and Supplier Contained Shipping\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline\n\n3 years of experience working in Quality Assurance in a plant or supplier quality role\n\n1 year of experience working with PPAP procedures, APQP (Control Plan & PFMEA), PPAP, and ISO QMS\n\nForeign Language required based on region\n\nAbility to travel domestically and globally up to 35%\n\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nCompetent using full suite of Microsoft Office products\n\nDemonstrated knowledge of the interpretation and application of manufacturing/quality metrics\n\nDemonstrated knowledge in the implementation of lean principles and improvements\n\nDemonstrated ability to collaboratively work with teams to drive improvements\n\nDemonstrated ability to manage shifting deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment\n\nDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate, orally and in writing\n\nGood presentation skills at all levels\n\nUse of advanced problem-solving skills to resolve difficult issues\n\nDemonstrated ability to multi-task and solve problems in a fast-paced environment\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience working with international companies and in matrix organizations.\n\nCertified Quality Engineer\n\nCertified Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt\n\nCertified Supplier Quality Auditor\n\nExperience using SAP or equivalent ERP\n\nExperience using ETQ QMS database\n\nExperience using Ariba\n\nPhysical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.
