team of engineers with a focus on the flight sciences (GNC, aerodynamics, flight performance, and CFD) and specifically the tools that enable their work.\nManage the compute resources of the department, including maintenance and upgrades.\nManage the capital expenses for the department.\nManage software licensing for the department.\nOversee resource planning for the department.\nOversee department bid and proposal work.\nDevelop and maintain the roadmap for investment in the tools used by the department, to include codes developed internally by the team as well as COTS software packages.\nRecruit, hire, retain, and develop engineers with broad flight sciences backgrounds that align with the development roadmap.\nClosely coordinate resources with other department leaders as
