Manages all phases of manufacturing and engineering operations for cable fabrication and PWA builds and modifications with an emphasis on laboratory concept and prototyping design cycles from plant layout to daily operations. Works closely with technical staff and management across departments to develop and implement current, annual, and long-term technical, schedule, quality, business and financial objectives for manufacturing and engineering operations. May also contribute to the development of annual and long-term objectives for the organization. typically accomplishes the objectives through subordinate management. May be responsible for decisions that impact outcomes where erroneous decisions could cause serious schedule delays and additional expenditures.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nManage the planning, scheduling, and activities of cable harness and PWA builds in manufacturing and engineering operations to achieve technical, business, safety, quality, and financial objectives. \nAct as the primary contact for manufacturing and prototyping/concept cable and PWA design activities and participate in progress planning and review sessions to discuss schedules. \nEnsure all operations are monitored for regulatory and safety compliance. \nTake a proactive approach to continuous improvement and implement lean principles. \nPrioritize production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply. \nEnsure machinery, equipment, and tools are well maintained. \nIdentify manufacturing issues and provide leadership in developing solutions. \nProvide guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements that best utilize the facilities equipment and manufacturing techniques. \nEnsure manufacturing leadership and excellence is maintained by overseeing the planning, attraction, selection, retention, and development of the required management, professional, and technical talent. \nProvide manufacturing and technical expertise to the development of new and expansion of existing business opportunities to enhance the capabilities of the organization. \nMaintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information. \nResponsible for ensuring all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations are observed wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. \nResponsible for ensuring work is
