Engineer to join our EMS group located in Rancho Bernardo, CA.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nReviews raw material certifications for conformance to purchase order, engineering drawing and specification requirements\nReviews engineering drawings for correct materials and processes notes\nMay participate in hands-on metallurgical laboratory work\nReviews engineering drawings for correct weld symbol and code application requirements\nDevelops weld maps for welded assemblies\nGenerates weld qualification documentation and organizes qualification activities (PQR, WPS, WPQR)\nReviews and approves supplier weld documentation for correctness to purchase order requirements\nResolves issues and nonconformance’s related to welding discrepancies.\nPerforms on-site supplier audits to ensure materials, processes or welding requirements are in conformance with purchase order requirements\nPerforms weld requirements and process training to GA welders and other staff within the company, such as the Procurement, Quality Assurance, and Design Engineering organizations\nReviews and approves welding operations for GA welded fabrication work instructions and routers\nWrites technical documentation (i.e. specifications, test reports, lab reports) and makes technical presentations as required\nMay represent the organization in providing solutions to technical issues associated with specific projects\nMay work on materials, processes, welding and additive manufacturing research and development activities\nPerforms other related duties as assigned or required.\nWe recognize and
