direction, this position is responsible for supporting the manufacturing production process of Optical systems and Optical Space Payloads to ensure they meet the mission requirements, while focusing on manufacturing, integration and testing, of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nLead and support the planning, fabrication, and procurement of Optical Payload, subsystems, and components\nEnsure successful assembly and integration of complex systems, including payloads, communication and propulsion systems.\nProvide regular status reports on manufacturing progress, identifying risks or delays to ensure timely project completion.\nDevelops, implements, and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub- assemblies, and final assemblies.\nDesigns the arrangement of manufacturing equipment to ensure most efficient and productive layout.\nDesigns the sequence of production operations, specifying procedures for the fabrication of applicable tools and equipment, and adapting machinery.\nInterfaces and collaborates with other engineering disciplines (Electrical, mechanical, systems) to ensure manufacturing processes and priorities are aligned with design requirements in coordinating the release of new products.\nProvides guidance to product design engineering on technical specifications that will best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.\nEstimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards, and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.\nEnsures that production processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.\nMaintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.\n10.Develops appropriate documentation of findings and implemented solutions and communicates results to staff.\nMay be required to make technical presentations to staff.\nMay provide direction to less experienced professionals, design staff or technicians.\nMaintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.\nPerforms other duties as
