This position supports the U.S. Marine Corps customers to provide systems engineering and technical management of the GA-ASI Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). This role will work to integrate new capabilities into the Marine Corps latest and greatest UAS.\nDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\nSupports operation of engineering systems by evaluating and interpreting needs and problems and develops effective approaches to resolving those issues.\nTroubleshoots, analyzes, and repairs systems in assigned area by utilizing standard engineering and scientific principles.\nDirects the activities of designers, technicians and may direct the activities of less experienced professional staff.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nDevises new approaches to resolve unusual or complex engineering problems.\nTroubleshoot conflicting design/development requirements, difficult coordination requirements, and special material requirements.\nProvides documentation and makes technical presentations as required.\nMay represent the organization as the prime technical contact on small contracts or single component projects.\nProvides direction to design or technical staff and may lead a team of moderately experienced professional staff.\nMaintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.\nSupports the development of project plans, including Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), Bills of Material (BOM) and Basis of Estimation (BOE) for labor hours and deliverables to be included in a proposal response.\nLeads integration and flight test activities for a range of advanced capabilities into unmanned aircraft and related systems.\nFull lifecycle program execution from concept through airworthiness testing, certification, and fielding.\nResponsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.\nExpected to work in a safe manner in
