This position is responsible for project engineering support for the Airframe and Production Team within the MQ-9B Chief Engineering Office. This position will focus on production projects pertaining to our MQ-9B RPA platform. This is a multi-faceted role dealing with a wide variety of skill sets and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.\nUnder general supervision with limited review, this position is responsible for determining and developing effective approaches for resolving a wide range of difficult engineering problems. The position will include working with engineering leadership, program management, and customer representatives to develop and execute development, test, and sustainment programs for domestic and international customers.\nDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\nAs a member of the Chief Engineering Office, provide project engineering support as follows:\nWork with Operations Program Management (OPM) to resolve engineering issues and support aircraft builds.\nCoordinates and monitors the design and development process by making periodic visits to manufacturing shops, quality assurance, manufacturing engineering and electrical engineering.\nWork with the Chief Engineering Office and Program Engineering Teams to fulfill the technical obligations of the Customer Program requirements.\nRepresents the organization as a prime technical contact within an engineering team for assigned project(s)/program(s).\nMay function in an advisory or leadership role for a project/program and provide direction and guidance to less experienced professional staff or team of professional staff.\nPlans and coordinates the maintenance of engineering solutions including, documentation, reporting, publishing, and making technical and other presentations to ensure viability of the solution(s) in an evolving environment.\nSupport engineering estimates and proposals in response to customer and program management direction.\nTroubleshoot, analyze, and manage issue tracking in assigned areas by utilizing standard engineering and scientific principles.\nProvide documentation and make technical presentations as required.\nDirect the activities of designers, technicians and may direct the activities of less experienced professional staff.\nMaintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.\nPerform
