GA-EMS’ expanding portfolio of specialized products and integrated system solutions support critical fleet and space systems and satellites, missile defense, and nuclear energy for defense, industrial, and commercial customers worldwide.\nThe Nuclear Technologies and Materials (NTM) Division is seeking a driven individual to serve as a Project Manager for a major nuclear systems program. This position is responsible for managing and coordinating the daily operational aspects of projects within terrestrial nuclear programs and serves as the liaison between program management and the project team, planning, and line management to present and exchange information.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nContinually reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and develops appropriate reports and presentation materials to document progress of projects supporting terrestrial nuclear applications.\nAssesses project issues and develops solutions to meet production, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.\nParticipates in the development of mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with program management, line management, and the customer.\nSupports the Program Manager in administrative functions including tracking milestones, preparing presentation materials, facilitating program reviews, and ensuring timely and accurate reporting.\nAssist with development of project plans and manage resources to ensure project schedule, budget, quality, and specification goals are attained.\nMonitor project schedule, timeline, and milestones from initiation to delivery to meet delivery goals.\nCoordinate departmental and/or cross-functional teams (including Manufacturing, Testing, Nuclear Materials, and other technical departments) to assign and prioritize tasks focused on delivering new or upgrading existing products and/or services.\nMonitor work of project team members, providing technical support and direction when necessary.\nCreate progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentation materials for internal and external program reviews.\nSupport the preparation and timely submission of contract deliverables.\nCoordinate with staff and project team to expand services and potential business opportunities related to terrestrial nuclear programs.\nEnsure compliance with environmental and other applicable regulations.\nIdentify and assess project issues and develop recommendations for solutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.\nFacilitate and participate in regular program reviews and status meetings with internal teams, customers, and subcontractors.\nTrack critical financial and staffing status to support program execution and reporting requirements.\nLiaise with Security and Quality Assurance teams to ensure compliance with program and customer requirements.\nMay act as a lead providing direction and guidance to employees working on assigned projects.\nMay participate in the request for proposal (RFP) process to generate new business.\nResponsible for ensuring all
