Recent success has resulted in General Dynamics developing the next generation of Advanced High Performance, Safety Critical Mission Computer Systems to meet the needs of latest platforms in development by several aircraft manufacturers. These Mission Computing Systems provide the functionality that integrates aircraft systems, sensor systems and stores management systems with the information and control systems required by the aircrew to meet the demanding operational needs of these aircraft.\n The role will report directly to the Avionics Senior Project Accountant providing financial support to the business unit. The role is an integral part of the Project Finance Team, ensuring financial control is held within the programme and complying with all relevant GDUK and Corporate policies.\nThe individual will need to be a self-starter with an eye for detail and the ability to work as part of a team. The role encompasses financial/cost control, quarterly forecasting, variance analysis.\nResponsibilities include:\nFinancial Analysis and cost control for Air & Naval Projects, including the generation of forecasts, monthly actuals & variance analysis.
