Minimizes organizational cost through product standardization and tracking. Tracks quality throughout the product lifecycle and project future acquisitions of any needed resource. The Asset Manager routinely conduct inventory to account for existing resources and future mission requirements. This position will support activities within SAPs supporting Department of Defense (DoD) agencies such as HQ Air Force, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), and Military Compartments efforts. The position will provide day-to-day support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and SAP activities.\nHOW A LOGISTICS MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT\nResponsible for the maintenance of records and databases containing information regarding licenses, warranties, and service agreements for the organization's hardware and software for accountability\nPlans, monitors, and records software license and/or hardware assets to ensure compliance with vendor contracts\nSupport efforts to eliminate waste and increase efficiency by making the best use of existing IT asset resources and avoiding asset purchases that are redundant\nResponsible for accurate (a.k.a. real-time) repo1ting on IT assets: who owns it, is utilizing it, frequency utilized, which features are being used most, renewals, etc. P\nProvides guidance on methods of unclassified and classified shipments\nDevelop analytical systems to organize, track, and account for systems, project material, and assets supporting operations\nResearches cost savings opportunities for renewals, software licensing, and maintenance services\nTrack and renew hardware and software maintenance agreements and warranties, as needed\nProcurement, receipt, inventory and provisioning of software and hardware\nWith the assistance of the IT Support and Information assurance Team researches equipment and software and make recommendations on vendors, manufactures, product, and versions\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:\nExperience\nA minimum of three (3) years of relevant logistics experience, DoD preferred\n2+ years' Asset Management Experience2+ years' IT Financial Planning/Tracking\n\nMust demonstrate experience managing materials to include procurement, transportation, receipt, storage, inventory, and warehouse management\nRelevant experience with GFEs used by Department of Defense domain\nKnowledge of secure supply chain best practices\nProficiency with mobile/warehouse logistics systems\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Management OR Associate’s degree in a related area + 2 years’ experience OR equivalent experience (4 years)\nCertifications\nIAT Level II or IAM Level I - within 6 months of hire\nSecurity Clearance\nRequired - TS/SCI\nMust be able to obtain - TS/SCI with CI poly\nThe likely salary range for this position is $106,275 - $143,783. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
