DRTS provides the infrastructure and instrumentation for Abrams, Bradley, Stryker, and Aviation platform live-fire gunnery training and qualifications and the ability to conduct Combined Arms Live Fire Exercises (CALFEX).\nGDITs ETM I will report to the Range Team Leads and is responsible for ensuring Army standard of maintenance for all DRTS non-IT equipment, and that communication is maintained between the Player Unit (PU) and the DRTS systems during a training event.\nSeize your opportunity to make a personal impact as a ETM I. Our work depends on a Team Lead joining our team to help build and enable the readiness of our Nation's Army!\nMEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT:\nAttends daily range safety briefings are conducted each morning \nOperate workstations including AAR, range target and instrumentation. \nConduct PMCS of non-IT DRTS equipment. \nAssist Tech III with repairs of non-IT DRTS equipment. \nApply standard operating or corrective procedures in response to computer output instructions or error conditions; referring issues that require further troubleshooting to the Team Lead. \nInstall and Deinstall PU on proper military vehicles and DRTS equipment. \nConstruct and install target frames.\nRepair and replenish damaged targets.\nReestablish failed communication with down range equipment.\nConduct ground maintenance around all target pits, buildings, and service areas. \nUse MIS maintenance control program to open work orders (W/Os) and order needed parts.\nInstall and Deinstall PU on the proper military vehicles and targets. \nReestablish failed communication with down range equipment. \nMonitor and ensure PUs stay in communication with DRTS systems. \nReport acquisition of supplies, equipment, and parts weekly to Team Lead.\nConduct an inspection and inventory of all assigned equipment before and after each live fire-training event for accountability and serviceability. \nSupports the required GDIT/W-TRS cross training plan to support other W-TRS TADSS on instillation. \nWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:\nEducation: AA/AS or 2 years equivalent experience\nRequired Experience: 2+ years of related experience Managing US Army DRTS EQUIPMENT/ranges, Military experience preferred\n Required Technical Skills:Technical expertise in ranges systems, equipment. and range maintenance.\nKnowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security practices.\nExperienced in US army doctrine live-fire gunnery training and qualifications, combined arms live fire exercises, and After Action Review (AAR) capabilities. \nAbility to learn the W-TRS Management Information System (MIS) for controls/recording all work orders and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) property control \n\nSecurity Clearance: None\nRequired Skills and Abilities:Superb communication skills;\nAbility to document and report on technical issues and solutions;\n\nTravel: Must be able to travel up to 25% of time.\n Additional Details:Must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and be able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs\nMust be able to obtain/maintain a valid state driver’s license and post driving privileges\n\nLocation: On Customer Site\nGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:\nAt GDIT, the mission is our purpose, and our people are at the center of everything we do.\nGrowth: AI-powered career tool that identifies career steps and learning opportunities\nSupport: An internal mobility team focused on helping you achieve your career goals\nRewards: 401K with company match\nCommunity: Award-winning culture of innovation and a military-friendly workplace\nOWN YOUR OPPORTUNITY\nExplore a career in program management at GDIT and you’ll find endless opportunities to grow alongside colleagues who share your passion for the mission and delivering results.\nThe likely hourly rate for this position is between $28.01 - $37.89.
