NCIS is the DON component with primary responsibility for criminal investigation, law enforcement (LE), counterterrorism (CT), counterintelligence (CI), and cyber matters. NCIS not only has primary responsibility for all criminal investigative, CI, CT, and cyber matters within the DON, but it also has exclusive investigative jurisdiction in non-combat matters involving actual, potential, or suspected criminal, terrorism, sabotage, espionage and subversive activities.\nMEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT\nAs a Cloud Engineer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the IT Technology Operations division within the NCIS ITD organization in Quantico, VA:\nAs a Cloud Engineer, you will play a critical role working closely with Cloud Architect to build, deploy, secure, automate, and manage the day-to-day cloud infrastructure. You will provide cloud service expertise in one or more of these areas: This includes building and managing the DevSecOps environment and CI/CD pipeline. You will lead the engineering effort and the technical vision for cloud-based solutions and ensure the environment supports both immediate and long-term organizational goals.\n\nBuild, deploy, secure, automate, and manage the day-today cloud infrastructure\n\nBuild full CI/CD pipeline from scratch deploying industry best practices and DevSecOps principles with tools like Jenkins and Terraform\n\nExperience with provisioning infrastructure as code (IaC) using languages such as Python.
