This role serves as the senior logistics lead responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and synchronizing logistics operations across multiple countries, warehouses, and supported locations throughout the OCONUS AOR.\nThe successful candidate will oversee logistics personnel, property\naccountability, inventory management, warehouse operations, transportation, sustainment activities, Authorized Stockage Lists (ASL), equipment movements, retrograde operations, and contractual logistics reporting. Working closely with Country Leads, Program Management, Government stakeholders, OEMs, and subcontractors, the OCONUS Logistics Manager ensures mission readiness, regulatory compliance, and efficient logistics support across geographically dispersed locations.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead and synchronize logistics operations across all OCONUS sites and supported locations.\nPartner with Country Leads to coordinate logistics requirements, sustainment support, equipment movements, and transportation activities.\nProvide oversight of inventory management, property accountability, warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, ASL management, and equipment disposition.\nEnsure accurate accountability and reporting of Government, contractor, and program property using systems including COLTS and DPAS.\nManage logistics personnel, including staffing, training, mentoring, performance management, and professional development.\nCoordinate integrated logistics support activities, including provisioning, sparing analysis, maintenance support, and sustainment planning.\nOversee import/export compliance, ITAR requirements, hazardous material documentation, and transportation coordination.\nPrepare and present logistics status reports, customer briefings, and program updates.\nServe as the logistics lead for assigned CDRLs and contractual reporting requirements, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.\nIdentify logistics risks, resolve operational issues, and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and accountability.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree and 10+ years of related experience; additional experience may be substituted for a degree.\nExperience managing large-scale, multi-country logistics and sustainment operations.\nDemonstrated leadership experience managing geographically dispersed logistics teams.\nStrong knowledge of DoD logistics, supply chain operations, inventory management, warehouse operations, transportation, and property accountability.\nExperience with Government property systems and processes, including COLTS and DPAS.\nKnowledge of Army supply procedures, Government logistics documentation, and FAR 52.245-1 requirements.\nExperience managing CDRLs and contractual logistics reporting requirements.\nFamiliarity with USTRANSCOM, MILAIR, and military transportation processes.\nKnowledge of import/export regulations and ITAR compliance requirements.\nStrong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.\nActive U.S. Secret security clearance.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting Army Force Protection Systems, PM FPS, or similar defense programs.\nHazardous Material and/or Hazardous Waste Handling certification.\nExperience supporting OCONUS retrograde operations, site closures, and austere environments.\nPrior experience supporting deployed military operations.\nPhysical & Deployment Requirements\nValid U.S. passport with required visa availability.\nAbility to travel extensively using military and commercial transportation.\nMust meet deployment and medical readiness requirements for Southwest Asia operations.\nAbility to work in austere and non-climate-controlled environments.\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities including climbing, bending, squatting, and prolonged standing.\nWillingness to work extended schedules as required by mission needs.\nGDIT is your Place\nAt GDIT, the mission is our purpose, and our people are at the center of everything we do.\nGrowth: AI-powered career tool that identifies career steps and learning opportunities\nSupport: An internal mobility team focused on helping you achieve your career goals\nRewards: Comprehensive benefits and wellness packages, 401K with company match, competitive pay and paid time off\nCommunity: Award-winning culture of innovation and a military-friendly workplace\nOwn your Opportunity\nExplore a career in supply chain and logistics at GDIT and you’ll find endless opportunities to grow alongside colleagues who thrive on efficiency, accuracy, and accountability.\nThe likely salary range for this position is $124,093 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location.
