Our work depends on a Technical Writer joining our team to help build and enable the readiness of our Nation's Army!\nMEANING WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT:\nCreate, evaluate, and refine Army and Joint Operations Plans and Orders for training or simulation driven exercises.\nThis role requires a robust combination of analytical, technical and communication skills.\nDevelop engaging and complex scenarios that challenge the training audience\nServes in a mentorship or observer/controller role when requested.\nGathers observations based on unit actions during the training event and provides input to unit After Action Reviews (AARs).\nMaintains a comprehensive repository of relevant TTPs Responsible for creating higher headquarters OPORDs and, when necessary, may be called on to represent Division or higher headquarters for Brigade and below collective training.\nPerform as a member of the Higher Command Response cell during exercise execution answering formal requests for information from training units.\nPerform other duties as required.\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:\nEducation: BS/BA; U.S. Army MEL IV qualified or equivalent\nRequired Experience: 12+ years of related experience, Field Grade Officer, Warrant Officer or Senior NCO; Joint military experience preferred\n Required Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency with staff planning, OPORD / technical writing/editing and content management in one or more Warfighting Function (WfF); Advanced proficiency with Adobe, SharePoint and MS 365 to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
