This position requires on-site work at CDC headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.\nJob Duties\nSupport Evaluation Activities across preparedness and response activities including evaluation of emergency responses and exercises, advanced qualitative and quantitative data analysis, development of reports, visualizations, and decision-support products, technical consultation on mixed-methods tools.\nDesign evaluation to meet agency responses and exercises requirements.\nDevelop evaluation plans and coordinate its implementation.\nTrack and measure progress against established objectives and outcomes.\nIdentify capability gaps, resource needs, and areas for improvement.\nEnsure evaluation activities align with federal standards and best practices.\nDesign and execute data requests, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of analytic products.\nCollect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data.\nConduct qualitative and quantitative analyses of response or exercise data.\nApply statistical learning methods to identify trends, gaps, and outcomes.\nMonitor and assess data quality, integrity, and completeness.\nCollaborate with IT and informatics teams to improve data collection, processing, and other systems.\nDevelop clear, concise, and actionable evaluation products for technical and non-technical audiences\nProduce evaluation plans, evaluation reports, dashboards and data visualizations, executive summaries and briefings, and one-pagers.\nTrack, develop, and disseminate evaluation findings and recommendations.\nCommunicate findings to leadership, stakeholders, and partner organizations.\nMaintain documentation of evaluation methodologies, data sources, and analytic processes.\nIncorporate lessons learned into future evaluations and response processes.\nStay current with advancements in data science, machine learning, and public health analytics.\nJob Requirements\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience\nMust have experience in emergency management / emergency management evaluation, and/or relevant experience in public health as described below.\nMinimum 2+ years of experience in program evaluation or public health analytics, statistical software (e.g. R-Python, MAXQDA, NviVo or similar), data visualization tools, and qualitative and quantitative analysis.\nDemonstrates strong knowledge of evaluation methods and practices, data analysis and interpretation, translating data into actionable recommendations, customizing communication products for a variety of audiences, including executive leadership, and data management and data governance principles.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Planner).\nPossess strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nMust be able to support high-tempo emergency response environments.\nAbility to manage multiple concurrent data requests and deadlines.\nFlexibility to support surge activities during public health emergencies.\nTelework may be allowed, occasionally, if approved by technical monitor and COR.\nCLEARANCE: Must be a US Person (Green Card Holder/US Permanent Resident Alien, Refugee, Asylee, US Citizen) and be able to obtain a NACI Public Trust.\nGDIT IS YOUR PLACE\nFlexible work week\n401K with company match\nCustomizable health benefits packages\nCollaborative teams of highly motivated critical thinkers and innovators\nInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career\nRewards program for high-performing employees\nThe likely salary range for this position is $70,550 - $95,450. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
