Here, you’ll see the bigger picture on mission initiatives and where your project management career can go at GDIT.\nHOW A SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT\nKey Responsibilities\nLead end-to-end delivery of ServiceNow and Zero Trust projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, and closure.\nDefine project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.\nDevelop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and performance metrics.\nCoordinate cross-functional teams, including cybersecurity personnel, ServiceNow developers, system administrators, business analysts, engineers, external vendors, and government stakeholders.\nManage project risks, issues, assumptions, constraints, and dependencies; ensure timely mitigation and resolution.\nLead Agile ceremonies, project reviews, integrated product team meetings, and traditional governance processes as appropriate.\nSupport implementation of Zero Trust principles, including identity, access management, device security, network segmentation, data protection, continuous monitoring, and risk-based access controls.\nEnsure ServiceNow capabilities support ITSM, IT operations management (ITOM), cybersecurity workflows, governance, and automation requirements.\nEnsure alignment with ITIL best practices, cybersecurity requirements, organizational standards, and applicable security and regulatory requirements.\nTrack project performance using appropriate tools and techniques; provide clear, timely status updates and executive-level briefings to stakeholders.\nManage project budgets, forecasts, staffing requirements, and financial reporting.\nSupport change management, stakeholder engagement, training, and user-adoption activities.\nEnsure quality assurance, documentation, configuration management, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.\nIdentify opportunities to improve ServiceNow workflows, automate processes, strengthen security posture, and increase operational efficiency.\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED\nBring your senior program and project management expertise, ServiceNow knowledge, and Zero Trust experience to GDIT.\nRequired Qualifications\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Cybersecurity, or a related field.\nCertification: Project Management Professional (PMP).\nActive DoW Secret security clearance.\nExperience:\n5 to 8+ years of IT project or program management experience.\n3+ years managing ServiceNow platform projects or enterprise IT service management initiatives.\nRequired Skills:\nStrong knowledge of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM and ITOM.\nFamiliarity with ServiceNow security operations, governance, workflow automation, integrations, and reporting capabilities.\nUnderstanding Zero Trust principles and their application across identity, devices, networks, applications, data, and monitoring.\nExperience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project-management methodologies.\nProven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.\nAbility to develop and present project briefings, dashboards, schedules, risk assessments, and executive-level status reports.\nDesired Qualifications\nExperience supporting USCENTCOM or familiarity with its mission and IT environment.\nServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), or equivalent ServiceNow certification.\nCertified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or equivalent certification.\nExperience implementing or supporting Zero Trust architecture, cybersecurity modernization, identity and access management, or continuous monitoring initiatives.\nExperience working in government, defense, or other highly regulated environments\nFamiliarity with integration tools, application programming interfaces (APIs), and automation within the ServiceNow platform.\nKnowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards, such as NIST guidance, RMF, and DoW cybersecurity requirements.\nGDIT IS YOUR PLACE\nAt GDIT, the mission is our purpose, and our people are at the center of everything we do.\nGrowth: AI-powered career tool that identifies career steps and learning opportunities\nSupport: An internal mobility team focused on helping you achieve your career goals \nRewards: Comprehensive benefits and wellness packages, 401K with company match, competitive pay, and paid time off \nCommunity: Award-winning culture of innovation and a military-friendly workplace\nThe likely salary range for this position is $127,500 - $172,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
