The ideal candidate will have strong programming and database skills, an analytical mindset, experience using generative AI tools to enhance testing skills, and a dedication to improving product efficiency and performance.\n________________________________________\nKey Responsibilities\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and define testing scope.\nDesign, develop, and maintain automated test scripts, frameworks, and tools.\nDevelop and execute test plans for software applications, ensuring detailed coverage and traceability.\nDevelop and maintain datasets to be used in both automated and manual/exploratory data-driven tests. Develop and implement procedures to set up and tear down datasets using powerhsell, bash, or similar command line scripts and/or by using SQL statements directly in the database.\nCompare large datasets across systems, identify anomalies and edge cases, and validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across the system.\nConduct exploratory testing and ensure comprehensive test coverage.\nAnalyze test results, identify defects, report and document testing metrics, progress, and outcomes, and work closely with application teams for resolution.\nMaintain and improve test integration with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and their automated testing components.\nImplement performance testing strategies and identify bottlenecks in software performance.\nStay updated with the latest tools, technologies, and techniques in QA automation domains, including Jira plug-ins, new features in Playwright, and judicious use of Generative AI tools. ________________________________________ Basic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience\nAt least 5 years of experience in software development and/or testing.\nStrong programming skills in languages such as TypeScript, Node.js, PL-SQL, T-SQL, etc.\nExpertise in testing frameworks and tools such as Playwright, JUnit, JMeter, TestNG, Xray, etc.\nExpertise testing relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, etc.\nExperience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira).\nFamiliarity with CI/CD tools and systems such as Jenkins and GitLab CI.\nSolid understanding of rapid software testing methodologies, principles, and practices. ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications\nHands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST-assured.\nExperience in testing cloud-based applications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).\nExcellent debugging and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work in an Agile or Scrum development environment. ________________________________________ Key Competencies\nStrong analytical skills with attention to detail.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills.\nSelf-driven with the ability to work independently and in a team.\nWillingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. ________________________________________ Benefits\nCompetitive salary based on experience.\nHealth, dental, and vision coverage.\nProfessional growth and training opportunities.\nFlexible work options, including remote work.\nThe likely salary range for this position is $93,463 - $126,449. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
