In this role, you will:\nServe as the single, trusted focal point for application portfolio rationalization across the IDIQ, driving consistency and alignment among multiple projects and teams\n\nProvide architectural leadership across multiple task orders and product lines, ensuring solutions are cohesive, scalable, and aligned with enterprise priorities\n\nProactively identify opportunities to consolidate and modernize applications, reduce technical duplication, and simplify the technical environment\n\nEvaluate and recommend emerging and existing technologies that improve performance, security, user experience, and mission outcomes for the customer.\n\nGuard against the adoption of competing or redundant technologies by driving alignment to an enterprise-wide vision and standards\n\nLead and influence the implementation of the Sponsor’s unified systems roadmap across product lines, systems, and services at the IDIQ level\n\nEnsure solutions consistently comply with Sponsor standards, architectures, and long-term strategies, while balancing innovation with risk and cost\n\nIn addition, you will help shape and execute our strategy for integrating AI-enabled tools and capabilities into the development lifecycle by identifying opportunities for automation, improving developer productivity, and advising on responsible, mission-aligned AI adoption.\n\nThis position is ideal for architects who enjoy shaping enterprise technology direction at scale, partnering closely with the PMO, and driving measurable improvements across a broad portfolio of complex, mission-critical initiatives.\nHow You’ll Make an Impact\nExperience analyzing and rationalizing IT portfolio-based platform(s) (cloud applications, hardware, software) to support enhancements to current applications and systems; as well as streamlining and consolidating stacks\n\nExperience and knowledge of various architecture patterns such as microservices\n\nExperience with designing and implementing cloud-based solutions\n\nExperience architecting solutions for Salesforce and ServiceNow\n\nExperience in developing/supporting complex technical solutions.\n\nExperience and familiarity integrating with emerging technologies into an enterprise framework\n\nMentor and coach engineers on DevSecOps, agile delivery, and automation best practices.\n\nStay current with industry trends, tools, and practices in DevSecOps, CI/CD, cloud platforms, containers, and serverless, and recommend improvements.\n\nProgram Delivery Oversight\nMonitor team roadmaps and delivery milestones\n\nIdentify blockers and risks impacting delivery\n\nConduct root cause analysis when teams miss objectives\n\nIdentify and implement process improvements\n\nTranslate technical issues into executive-level communications\n\nParticipate in Monthly Program Management Reviews (PMRs) - delivery health and risk reporting\n\nTechnical Advisory\nServe as technical advisor to division leadership on strategic initiatives\n\nParticipate in executive meetings requiring deep technical expertise\n\nBridge communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.\n\nTS/SCI with Poly\n\n10+ years of experience in software development, DevOps, or platform engineering roles.\n\n5+ years of experience as a solutions architect\n\n3+ years of experience leading multiple teams across task orders, or similar leadership role.\n\nDemonstrated experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines for complex applications.\n\nHands-on experience with:\nCI/CD tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, ArgoCD).\n\nSource control and branching strategies (Git, trunk-based, GitFlow, etc.).\n\nCloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated services for VMs, containers, and serverless.\n\nContainerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, AKS, EKS, GKE).\n\nServerless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions).\n\nInfrastructure as Code (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation).\n\nStrong knowledge of DevSecOps practices, including automated security testing and compliance integration.\n\nSolid understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe or similar scaled frameworks).\n\nExcellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.\n\nDemonstrated experience evaluating and integrating AI-enabled development tools, with the ability to identify automation opportunities, improve developer workflows, and guide responsible AI adoption within complex software environments.\n\nDemonstrated experience working with ServiceNow and/or Salesforce and its core capabilities, including integrating workflows managing platform configuration, and leveraging their solutions to support enterprise development operational needs.\n\nDesired Skills and Experience\nMaster’s or Doctorate degree in a related field.\n\nCertifications such as:\nAWS/Azure/GCP Architect or DevOps Engineer\n\nCertified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or similar\n\nDevOps or Agile certifications (e.g., SAFe RTE, SAFe DevOps, CSM, PSM)\n\nSecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CSSLP, CCSP)\n\nExperience implementing policy-as-code and security-as-code (e.g., OPA, Sentinel, Conftest).\n\nExperience using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure\n\nThe likely salary range for this position is $195,240 - $264,148. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
