This Cloud SME role blends technical engineering expertise with a strong customer-support mission-ensuring that every cloud service, automation, and infrastructure component is fully delivered, functioning correctly, and meeting customer expectations. You will work onsite in Falls Church, VA, or remote with regular travel, and serve as a trusted technical partner to both internal teams and Emerge Labs internal customers.\nKey Responsibilities\nArchitect, build, and support multi-cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP.\nActs as an Okta/Identity SME for the GDIT Emerge Labs\nOversee Emerge Labs certificate infrastructure and DNS\nDeploy and manage AWS multi-tenant account structures, including networking, identity, governance, and security controls.\nDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for IaC deployments to ensure consistent, reliable, and repeatable delivery.\nServe as a Tier 3 escalation point, providing timely resolution and clear communication to Emerge Labs customers.\nEnsure that cloud services and deployments are fully delivered, validated, documented, and functioning as expected.\nWork directly with customers to understand requirements, track progress, resolve issues, and confirm successful delivery.\n Partner with internal engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams to maintain secure and compliant cloud environments.\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED\nBring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
