We are seeking a creative and driven professional with a passion for solving real world issues on a cross-functional, fast paced team.\nPosition affords the opportunity to mentor others and grow professionally both on your own and as part of a team.\nAs part of the Service Center West Operations Team, you’ll be charged with maintaining service availability levels for multiple servers located in main data centers and remote locations across the globe.\nResponsibilities:\nManages the functionality, efficiency, and security of infrastructure providing critical services to customers across the globe in the air, on land, and at sea.\nApply DISA STIG settings and patch OS/applications as required.\nProvision elevated and service accounts.\nCreate and maintain system documentation.\nMentor and learn from other team members.\nMay perform supervisory duties.\nInteract with end users as required and evaluate vendor products.\nMake recommendations to alter architecture of software and hardware to adapt to emerging technologies.\nDevelop policies and standards for performing complex builds and everyday tasks.\nMay write and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks.\nMay develop and implement testing strategies and document results.\nMaintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and learn new technologies as assigned.\nMay be required to complete short-term deployments to austere locations worldwide.\nMay be required to perform duties outside of normal day shift hours.\nThe work is typically performed in an office environment, which requires normal safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment.\nPeople manager for small team. Authentication, Active Directory, and connectivity troubleshooting) required.\nUnderstanding of Agile, ITIL, DevOps practices.\nExperience with infrastructure including but not limited to data center operations, server hardware, operating systems (Windows, Linux), web servers, databases, virtualization (VMware), networking, storage, monitoring, etc.\nAbility to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nMay be required to work evening, weekend, and holiday hours as required.\nMust meet DoW 8570 requirements and be eligible for IAT level II access upon hire for positions with elevated privileges and must obtain ITIL V4 Foundation within six months of hire.\nDepending on job assignment, additional specific certifications may be required.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMastery of the PowerShell scripting language.\nExperience automating and configuring systems using Desired State Configuration (DSC).\nHorizon View/VDI\nSQL\nSCSM and/or ServiceNow\nSCCM/MS Endpoint Manager\nMCSE, MCSA, MCITP: EA\nVMWare Certification(s)\nThe likely salary range for this position is $124,093 - $135,700.
