The candidate should have experience with CISCO switches, routers and firewalls, dell and other servers, network laptops, network debug and analysis tools such as Wirehsark and Tripwire. The candidate should also have experience with devices such as Palo Alto, Haipe or other security appliances.\nExperience should also include:\nNetwork security hardening experience\nSpecific knowledge of CISCO switches, routers and firewalls to include the Cisco 9300 series switches\nDemonstrated ability to design and develop rack configurations drawings and network diagrams\nExpertise and knowledge of switches, routers, firewalls, security appliances and architectures of network as a service\nNetwork security and network hardening experience in DoW environments\nSupport for SSP development\nNetwork TroubleshootingEvaluation of message receiving functions\nAssessment of Acks and Nacks\nAbility to understand specific functions\nDrawing and configuration of racks\nAssess if network is configured correctly\nReview firewall traffic (use of Packet Tools and Tripwire)\nTools: Wireshark and others\nAbility to determine which side of the network problem is from a connection standpoint\n\nNetwork Requirements Evaluation and developing network diagrams in Visio, PowerPoint and Excel\nPhysical Network Construction (installation of switches, fiber, cables security devices and more) on SERD for SCS/ESB\nAssistance to tamper and concealment group in assessing needs for design and deployed network\nHAIPE MTU assessment and review\nFiber installation and removal\nExperience with JIRA, Confluence and similar tools\nCandidate must interact well as an individual contributor or member of a focused team.\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED\nBring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT.
