Our work depends on a Tech Control Facility Technician III joining our team to solve complex problems, to exercise independent judgment, and to support & maintain communications systems.\nHOW A FIELD TECHNICIAN IV WILL MAKE AN IMPACT\nFabricates, installs, maintains, and repairs electronic, mechanical, and/or other types of components and equipment.\nMay serve as a team or task leader, coaching and reviewing the work of less-experienced professionals.\nApply lead level experience in maintenance/troubleshooting of Tech Control Facility equipment\nWork in an overseas location supporting military facilities\nProvides advice and a variety of onsite training for customer support personnel.\nTroubleshoots a variety of hardware and software problems and interconnectivity issues.\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:\nEducation: Associates of Arts/Associates of Science\nRequired Experience: 5+ years of related experience\nRequired Technical Skills: Security+; CCNA (Routing and Switching or Service Provider)\nSecurity Clearance Level: SECRET\nRequired Skills and Abilities: Lead level experience in maintenance/troubleshooting to include the following:\nNET Promina equipment\nKG, KY, KIV and ancillaries\nCISCO Routers/Switches\nPatch panels/maintenance panels\nFiber optic modems and interface cards\nLocation: On Customer Site\nUS Citizenship Required: CLEARANCE\nCERTIFICATIONS:\nMust meet the certification requirement of DoW 8570.01-M or otherwise stated in SPIN-C or individual task order. The contractor is expected to have, but is not limited to, the following IT certificate:\nSecurity+\nCisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching or Service Provider\nGENERAL EXPERIENCE:\nLead level “hands on” work experience in support of installations, repair, and troubleshooting or maintenance of communications systems or equipment. Must have the technical knowledge to solve complex problems, understand the interrelationships of circuits, and be able to exercise independent judgment in performing tasks in support of communications systems or equipment.\nExperience, to include: supervision, and shop practices.\nSPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:\nPersonnel in this labor category are considered experts in the field.
