As the Technical Program Manager you’ll see the bigger picture on mission initiatives and where your program management career can go at GDIT.\nMEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT:\nThe Technical Program Manager drives the Agile orchestration backbone of the enterprise, translating authoritative requirements into executable development work across all contractor teams.\nThis role shall, in close coordination with and approval of the Government, lead and orchestrate the overarching Agile framework for the program, including facilitation of cross-functional planning events such as joint Program Increment (PI) Planning, to ensure synchronized execution, map technical dependencies, and align delivery schedules across the Platform and Application contractor teams.\nThe TPM also owns requirements traceability: establishing and managing a formalized requirements ingestion process, ensuring each enterprise technical requirement is properly mapped and traced back to authoritative Government capability documentation.\nThe TPM facilitates cross-contractor Agile planning by overseeing the decomposition of high-level authoritative requirements into actionable, manageable development iterations (e.g., Epics, Features, and User Stories) aligned to upcoming Program Increments.\nPriority Technical & Leadership Skill Sets\nExpertise in Agile decomposition, backlog management, PI/Sprint planning, and requirements traceability.\nExperience integrating high-level capability documents (IS-ICD, RDP, Forms 1067) into digital thread workflows.\nStrong understanding of DevSecOps pipelines, CI/CD, and software testing frameworks.\nAbility to coordinate multi-contractor teams in a hybrid cloud and cybersecurity-intensive environment.\nTechnical fluency with enterprise architecture, MBSE models, or Zero Trust frameworks.\nExpert-level Scrum/SAFe Agile methodology, backlog management tooling (e.g., Jira), and experience orchestrating PI planning across multiple contractor teams in a System of Systems environment.\nMust be able to evaluate, categorize, and route validated requirements into the correct Agile pipeline (infrastructure, pipeline, software, or application), per the Contractor's responsibility to evaluate, categorize, and recommend validated requirements to the Government for approval and execution within the appropriate internal Agile development pipeline, e.g., routing to support infrastructure, pipeline requirements, software, custom configuration, application requirements, etc.\nOccasional SCIF access supports periodic engagement with classified requirements sources and governance boards.\nQUALIFICATIONS - WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:\nBachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 10-12 years in technical program or product leadership; 5+ years leading Agile development pipelines; 3+ years supporting MBSE, DevSecOps, or software engineering programs\nSecurity Clearance Level: Top Secret with SCI eligibility\nCertification: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)\nLocation: San Antonio, TX\nUS citizenship required\nGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:\nFull-flex work week to own your priorities at work and at home.\n401K with company match.\nComprehensive health and wellness packages.\nInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career.\nProfessional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications.\nCutting-edge technology you can learn from.\nRest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays.\nCommunity: Award-winning culture of innovation and a military-friendly workplace OWN YOUR OPPORTUNITY Explore a career in program management at GDIT and you’ll find endless opportunities to grow alongside colleagues who share your passion for the mission and delivering results.\nThe likely salary range for this position is $140,250 - $189,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
