Join GDIT as a Technical Writer and you will build an impactful career in enterprise IT, collaborating with people who are driven and resourceful like you.\nMEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT\nAs a Technical Writer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the customer’s mission.\nCreate, update, and maintain technical documentation, including full diagram schematics, manuals, and operational procedures to ensure consistency in standards and clarity of processes. \nDevelop and maintain comprehensive Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) to support project management, workflows, and compliance efforts. \nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, project managers, and subject matter experts, to gather and organize technical information. \nEnsure all documentation complies with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. \nReview and edit existing documentation for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with current systems or requirements. \nMaintain records of revisions, version control, and documentation repositories to ensure accessibility and traceability. \nWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED\nBring your technology expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Technical Writer must have:\nBachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Communications, English, or related field. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
