This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for a recent engineering graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in the integration, verification, and qualification of complex communication systems.\nWorking under the guidance of experienced engineers, you will contribute to the design, analysis, testing, and validation of hardware and software-based solutions while developing your technical expertise in a collaborative Agile environment.\nIn this role, you will:\nSupport the development and validation of system and product quality requirements.\nPerform technical analysis and contribute to trade studies, technical reports, interface documents, and design documentation.\nParticipate in technical reviews and apply engineering principles to solve complex problems.\nSupport integration, verification, qualification, and design-proving activities for new and existing products.\nAnalyze technical issues, evaluate solutions, and document recommendations.\nCollaborate within Agile/Scrum teams to complete integration and testing activities.\nDevelop and execute acceptance test procedures and test cases for hardware, software, firmware, and system-level functionality.\nReview requirements, interface control documents, design documentation, and use cases to develop comprehensive test coverage.\nExecute tests in laboratory environments and analyze, interpret, and document results.\nPrepare test reports, defect reports, and technical summaries to communicate progress and findings.\nSupport the development and maintenance of automated test scripts.\nAssist with requirements traceability and mapping requirements to verification activities.\nShare technical knowledge and contribute to a collaborative team environment.\n What You Need to Have to Succeed\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication abilities.\nDemonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and environments.\nPositive attitude and willingness to contribute in a team-oriented environment.\nWhat Makes You Stand Out\nKnowledge of wireless communications systems and networking principles.\nExposure to systems integration, verification, or test engineering through academic projects, co-op placements, or internships.\nFamiliarity with Agile or Scrum development environments.\nExperience with scripting or automated testing tools.\nIt is a requirement that General Dynamics Mission Systems-Canada be registered with the Canadian Controlled Goods program and that all of its workforce be security assessed. Successful applicants must meet all applicable security requirements, including but not limited to the ability to obtain and maintain a Canadian government security clearance. Applicants may be required to meet additional security requirements in order to gain access to technical data, classified areas or information that is subject to international regulations. You must be eligible to work in Canada.\n The hiring range for this position is $75,000-$80,000.
