Every day, your skills will directly impact programs that matter.\n We are currently seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to join our Land Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (LC5ISR) team, supporting the development of advanced Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition and Reconnaissance (ISTAR) capabilities for the Canadian Army.\nIn this role, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary engineering team to help design, develop, integrate and test complex systems that support military communications, situational awareness and operational decision-making.\nAs part of an Agile development team, you will gain hands-on experience across the systems engineering lifecycle, working alongside experienced engineers to contribute to system architecture, requirements development, integration and verification activities.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer who enjoys problem-solving, learning new technologies and contributing to meaningful engineering projects.\nThe following are typical responsibilities:\nAnalysis and decomposition of complex problems into achievable solutions\nDevelop and document system designs, use cases and system interfaces\nArchitecture Modelling in tools such as Enterprise Architecture\nRequirements Management in tools such as DOORs\nVerification and Validation support\nPrototype potential solutions for recommendation\nInvestigate system defects and raise problem reports\nAssist in planning and coordinating solution and feature development\nSupport external validation test events and field trials\nSome work may involve Networking and routing (e.g. Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN), Microsoft Applications,\nExpand knowledge of latest technologies, products and market trends relevant to area of work\nProvide coaching and mentorship to team members\n What You Need to Have to Succeed\nBachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent education and experience.\n0-1 years of relevant experience in systems engineering or a related technical field.
