Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.\nResponsibilities for this Position\nThe Mission Module Logistics Support Technician will provide logistic support to field organizations and/or customers including spare or replacement parts and supplies. You’ll repair returned products and advise customers on types and amounts of equipment available. We’ll expect you to provide support to the logistics function, preparing logistics documentation to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment and related manuals to be deployed and stocked. You’ll also modify maintenance records such as repair standards for more complex equipment or components.\nREPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:\nThis position is responsible for providing a full-range of administrative support to multiple managers and/or directors within a business functional area(s)\nThe Administrator will manage multiple tasks to relieve management of administrative details and allow them to concentrate on other business activities\nThe Administrator is expected to demonstrate poise, initiative, trustworthiness, timeliness, precision, and adherence to confidentiality at all times\nGathers, collects, records, tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources\nProvides a full range of administrative support and performs a variety of administrative activities specifically in support of a business functional area(s)\nConsistently works on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve issues\nObtains data from various sources, analyzes data and information, and prepares reports for the business functional area as needed\nDrafts, proofreads, and finalizes written correspondence ensuring accuracy\nEnters, formats, and proofreads inputs into Excel Spreadsheets, Power-Point and Word documents\nWorks on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment dealing with confidential/sensitive information\nProvides data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures\nReassigns computers to maintain accuracy of inventory records of department computers\nLogs requisitions for items such as hardware and software to audit monthly budget reports for accuracy\nValidates Monthly Project Reviews to requisitions and invoices; identifies duplications and incorrect entries\nReports employee moves into vacant work spaces to Facilities by inputting to Computer Assisted Facilities Management (CAFM) system which is used to track particular building area data such as infrastructure and systems capacity (moving people only) in order to validate actual space availability, confirms department space assignments and allocations (budget), and identifies unoccupied space (resource utilization)\nRegularly surveys area for maintenance needs such as carpet spills, burned out light bulbs, chips out of walls, etc. and arranges for maintenance by submitting requests to facilities for work that will cost less than $5k at a facility\nMonitors charge number activities for accuracy\nProvides computers (leases), and other technology and devices by coordinating with Information Technology, Supply Chain Management in order to maximize productivity and manage costs\nPerforms periodic audits of software assets within the business unit, as set forth in company policy, to ensure compliance with software licensing, acquisition, use, and maintenance of patches, upgrades, and configuration to security requirements in order to support various audits and accreditation activities\nCollaborates with others to improve processes and procedures\nOpen to new ideas and can serve as a champion for change and acts to support change when directed from management\nPerforms administrative support and secretarial activities\nPerforms variety of activities in support of functional areas such as finance, purchasing, or human resources or for a specific project/business/technical unit\nCompiles, reviews and analyzes data\nUses software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, time-lines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations\nMay design processes to enhance work flow\nDevelops procedures to ensure consistent work performance\nContact with internal and external co-workers, managers, directors, and executives, executive staff, employees, and administrative staff; design interface; reliability, maintainability and availability (RM&A), how they interact and how they are applied across a program, their effect on a system, plus how a systems' design and changes affect the ILS elements\nStrong knowledge of the Acquisition Logistics (a multi-functional technical management discipline associated with influencing design for supportability and planning the support infrastructure for a system by focusing on the integrated logistics support (ILS) elements and working with and across all IPTs)\nRequirements include direct experience working with Navy Supply (NAVSUP) systems ordering, issuing and stocking parts and materials; Use of the Navy’s RSupply system to generate reports; Maintaining inventory data bases for material stocked in store rooms and warehouses; Utilizing HAZMAT/HAZWASTE procedures and comply with ordering requirements; Generate DD-1149, DD-1348-1, DD-1348-6 and DD-250s using MICROSOFT Office suite of products, Adobe Acrobat and other programs.\nCandidate shall have 3 years of experience as a Logistics Specialist/Storekeeper (LS/SK). \nSalary Note\nThis estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.).
