Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.\nResponsibilities for this Position\nKey Responsibilities:\nAssist product engineer with design to cost\nDefine and document equipment calibration requirements\nDevelop floor layouts\nDocument procedures, process qualifications, work instructions, shop aids, routings, etc.\nDevelop manufacturing engineering plans and strategies for specific products and processes\nInstall manufacturing process systems and conduct production qualification\nProvide process analysis to support new business (NPI) opportunity assessment and quoting\nDevelop, design, procure, and construct manufacturing process hardware, fixturing tools, software, and work environment\nEstimate manufacturing cost, determine time standards, and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines\nLead quality initiatives using six sigma methodology to determine extent of non-conformance root cause, and corrective action\nMonitor and control process parameters, and identify special processes and need for SPC\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:\nIdentifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation\nFully proficient understanding of manufacturing processes and methods\nFully proficient in lean manufacturing techniques and six sigma methodology\nFully proficient problem-solving and analytical skills\nAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams\nFully proficient communication and interpersonal skills\nFully proficient written and verbal communications skills\nFully proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office applications\nFully proficient knowledge with manufacturing processes and electrical/mechanical components, systems and applications\nSalary Note\nThis estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.).
