Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.\nResponsibilities for this Position\nKey Responsibilities\nWhat you’ll experience\nManage equipment, tools, spare parts, test assets, and materials-from receiving and storage through tracking, issue, return, and inventory reconciliation.\nSupport hands-on equipment setup, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and readiness activities at remote sites and aboard ships.\nCoordinate shipping, receiving, packaging, manifests, and material movement with carriers, site teams, and internal partners.\nServe as a key on-site contact, keeping customers and program teams informed of equipment status, priorities, risks, and issues.\nWork in a variety of settings-including warehouses, docks, labs, and shipboard environments-while following safety, security, quality, and environmental requirements.\nWhat you bring to the table\nA bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, science, technology, or a related field.\nExperience with inventory control, logistics, equipment support, field service, testing, maintenance, or similar operational work.\nAbility to follow technical instructions, drawings, manuals, test procedures, and shipping or inventory records.\nStrong organization, attention to detail, and comfort using Microsoft Office and inventory, maintenance, or ERP systems.\nAbility to work independently, collaborate with remote teams, travel as needed, and safely work in industrial, dockside, warehouse, or shipboard settings.\nWhat sets you apart\nExperience supporting maritime, defense, Navy, Coast Guard, or other shipboard programs.\nFamiliarity with government property, serialized assets, configuration control, controlled materials, or calibration systems.\nExperience with test instruments, quality processes, discrepancy reporting, or customer-facing field support.\nRelevant certifications such as forklift, rigging, hazardous-materials handling, or maritime safety training.\nAn active security clearance-or the ability to obtain and maintain one for the assigned program.\nWork Environment and Physical Requirements\nWork is performed primarily at a remote site and may include warehouse, dockside, industrial, laboratory, and shipboard environments.\nPosition may require climbing ladders or stairs, working in confined or restricted spaces, standing for extended periods, and moving equipment or materials in accordance with safety procedures.\nSchedule flexibility may be required to support testing events, vessel schedules, shipping deadlines, or operational requirements.\nDomestic and/or international travel may be required.\nWorkplace Options: This position is fully on-site.\nSalary Note\nThis estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.).
