Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.\nResponsibilities for this Position\nROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:\nRelocation Package available.\nAs a software engineer for CMSS , you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for analysis and resolution of security findings, design and implement complex system improvements, and deliver reliable software that supports operational missions. Work includes architecture and detailed design, technical documentations, implementation, automated testing, and collaboration across engineering disciplines.\nWe encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills and experiences; Experience with SATCOM, designing/implementing CI/CD pipelines, Docker, automated test frameworks, Agile and DevSecOps.\nWhat sets you apart:\nEssential Functions:\nLead the design, documentation, implementation, code review, and automated testing of complex software features and sustainment releases.\nOwn technically challenging sustainment activities, including security remediation, root-cause analysis, system improvements, and resolution of customer-impacting software issues.\nProvide technical guidance to team members; contribute to development standards, peer reviews, planning, estimation, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.\nPartner with systems, test, cybersecurity, and customer stakeholders to define solutions, verify system behavior, and support deployment and operational readiness. Occasional travel may be required.
