Designing, implementing and maintaining quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into finished products, the Senior Quality Engineer will have the opportunity to help our nation’s heroes make a true impact. You’ll design methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment and finished products.\nWhat you’ll experience:\nTechnologies that aren’t just top-notch, they’re often top-secret\nA team of bold thinkers committed to exploring what’s next\nOpportunities to gain new knowledge - as it’s discovered\nWhat you bring to the table:\nA Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience\nSolid knowledge of engineering (i.e., software, electrical, systems, etc.) methodologies, tools, and standards\nSolid knowledge of ISO 9001:2008, CMMI, ISO 14001ASME, ANSI, EIA, etc.\nSolid knowledge of use of relevant inspection/measurement tools and techniques\nWhat sets you apart:\nOutstanding communication skills - very solid written and verbal communications - to work proactively with a project team and interact with our customers\nAbility to think creatively and multi-task across project reviews, technical design reviews, and technical peer reviews\nA high degree of motivation and persistence when working through problems of moderate scope\nVery solid skills in reviewing documents, drawings, and instructions for conformance to requirements techniques\nVery solid knowledge of contract language (including FARs, DFARs, etc.) and Government regulations\nUnderstanding of configuration management, change management, and contract quality requirements flow down to suppliers/sub-contractors\nExperience with the following:First Article Inspections\nRoot Cause Tools\nCorrective Action Initiatives\nProcess Improvement\nStock Sweeps\n\nIdentifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation\nSalary Note\nThis estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.).
