Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.\nResponsibilities for this Position\nBelow are key responsibilities of the ISCI Senior Engineering Manager\nIdentifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation across the business segment\n\nAccountable for engineering program execution, cost control, and technical performance across all programs within the business segment, including directing, coordinating, and exercising functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of all engineering efforts within the Business Segment\nSupport key technical initiatives and/or problem resolution\nExtensive engagement with all levels of engineering program teams to identify risks, staffing issues, deviations to contractual scope and ensuring appropriate mitigation efforts.\nCollaborate across Business Area/LoB and share resources where necessary, proactively anticipating needs\nClose collaboration with BD and Business segment Director to define viable business strategy for sustainment and growth of the business and provide technical advice and direction during proposals and execution issues.\nAlignment of our technical strategy to the overall business strategy\nApproval authority for engineering proposals and execution baseline plans\nAccountable for effective implementation of business-driven IR&D\nProvides leadership and technical/managerial content for proposals with identification of cross business unit strengths and technical shortcomings\nLeads improvements in engineering through process change and implementation of new methods/tools and application of appropriate resources\nSupport the implementation of technology into the Business Area/LoB, including AI\nFinancial activities such as Engineering budgets/forecasts, capital/expense management, and financial analysis (direct/indirect labor usage)\nPeople activities such as performance management, hiring, headcount management and forecasting, close collaboration with our Learning and Organizational Development team on training and development, and employee recognition\nThe successful candidate will have direct experience in leading and growing teams who execute technologically complex programs in a changing environment. This candidate must be able to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance.\nPreferred candidate will have:\nDomain expertise in Anti-Tamper (AT), hardware physical security, and/or commercial product development.\nStrong background leading a multi-functional team to successfully design, develop, and deliver products. \nClearly demonstrated background in building enduring customer relationships\nAn ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization. \nKnowledge of how to build, grow and execute AT/physical security based programs to include leveraging core products to support multiple product lines\nAbility to grow and execute production focused programs focused on DTC/DTUPC and manufacturability\nExisting secret clearance\nWilling to travel regularly to staff sites in Scottsdale, AZ, Boise, ID, and Salt Lake City, UT\nCLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
