Are you up to the challenge?\nThe SIPRNET System Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operation, administration, maintenance, security, and troubleshooting of secure SIPRNET and classified systems environments supporting critical business and customer missions. This position serves as a technical subject matter expert responsible for maintaining highly available, secure, compliant, and operationally ready classified systems across geographically dispersed locations.\nThe successful candidate will provide hands-on and remote systems administration support across SIPRNET environments, including Windows Server and workstation operating systems, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, PKI, virtualization platforms, enterprise applications, security tools, and other supporting infrastructure. The administrator will troubleshoot complex technical issues, implement approved configuration changes, support new system deployments, and ensure systems remain compliant with applicable Department of Defense, DISA, NIST, and cybersecurity requirements.\nThis position requires strong technical knowledge of Windows systems administration, Active Directory, Group Policy, classified systems administration, vulnerability management, configuration management, system hardening, patch management, and Cyber Operational Readiness Assessment (CORA) requirements. The successful candidate must be comfortable working independently, responding to operational issues, supporting multiple concurrent priorities, and clearly communicating technical requirements, instructions, and troubleshooting steps to personnel with varying levels of technical experience, including providing effective remote guidance and support.\nTravel will be required to support geographically dispersed SIPRNET environments, system deployments, maintenance activities, inspections, and customer requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide day-to-day operation, administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of secure Windows-based SIPRNET systems and classified computing environments.\nInstall, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade Windows Server and workstation systems in accordance with approved technical and security baselines.\nAdminister Active Directory environments, including user and computer accounts, organizational units, security groups, permissions, and domain services.\nPerform user account administration, access provisioning, password resets, group membership changes, and other identity and access management functions in accordance with approved procedures.\nPerform operating system, application, and vendor software patching in accordance with approved configuration management and cybersecurity requirements.\nImplement and maintain DISA STIGs, security configurations, and other applicable cybersecurity controls across Windows servers, workstations, and supporting systems.\nConduct vulnerability remediation and configuration management activities using approved enterprise security and vulnerability management tools such as ACAS.\nMonitor system health, performance, availability, capacity, and security events using approved monitoring, logging, and security tools.\nPerform system recovery, backup, restoration, and continuity activities in accordance with established procedures.\nSupport virtualization environments, including the administration and troubleshooting of virtual machines and associated Windows operating systems.\nSupport the installation, configuration, testing, and operational deployment of new SIPRNET servers, workstations, applications, systems, and security solutions.\nPerform system configuration changes in accordance with established change management and configuration management processes.\nSupport Cyber Operational Readiness Assessments (CORA), DISA inspections, audits, security assessments, and other customer compliance activities.\nMaintain accurate system documentation, configuration records, technical baselines, standard operating procedures, account documentation, and troubleshooting guides.\nMaintain system inventories and ensure hardware and software configurations remain consistent with approved baselines.\nCoordinate with cybersecurity, network, engineering, security, and other technical teams to resolve system-level issues and operational deficiencies.\nResearch emerging technologies and technical solutions and recommend improvements to the SIPRNET systems environment.\nProvide technical guidance and remote assistance to users and administrators at geographically dispersed locations.\nRequired Experience\nDemonstrated hands-on experience supporting SIPRNET or classified systems operations in a Department of Defense environment.\nExperience supporting Cyber Operational Readiness Assessments (CORA).\nExperience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows Server operating systems in enterprise environments.\nExperience administering Active Directory, including users, groups, permissions, PKI certificates, and Group Policy Objects.\nExperience supporting enterprise-scale classified infrastructure across multiple geographically dispersed locations.\nExperience with PowerShell scripting and automation for Windows administration.\nExperience with Windows security hardening, system configuration, vulnerability remediation, and patch management.\nExperience supporting vulnerability scanning, remediation, configuration management, and security compliance activities.\nExperience supporting virtualization technologies and virtual machine administration.\nExperience with system monitoring, event logs, performance analysis, and troubleshooting tools.\nExperience supporting backup, restoration, and system recovery activities.\nWorking knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-171, RMF, DISA STIGs, vulnerability management, configuration management, and System Security Plans.\nAbility to create and maintain technical documentation, system diagrams, configuration records, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting documentation.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently troubleshoot complex technical problems.\nAbility to clearly communicate technical requirements, technical instructions, and troubleshooting steps to personnel with varying levels of technical experience, including providing effective remote guidance and support.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nSuccess in this position will be measured by:\nSIPRNET systems consistently maintain operational and compliance readiness throughout the year.\nCORA assessments are completed successfully with minimal findings.\nStandardized systems administration practices are implemented across all environments.\nActive Directory, Group Policy, user accounts, and system configurations are administered accurately and consistently.\nRequired certifications and technical proficiency are maintained.\nOperational and cybersecurity risks are identified early and communicated effectively.\nVulnerabilities and configuration deficiencies are identified and remediated within established timelines.\nSystem documentation, configuration records, and operational procedures remain accurate and current.\nOperational efficiency is increased through automation, process improvements, and standardization.\nDemonstrates strong collaboration, communication, and accountability as a member of the
