Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.\nResponsibilities for this Position\nROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:\nWe are seeking an experienced Technical Lead Software & Systems Integrator to lead integration efforts across complex multi-platform systems. This role serves as the technical authority for systems integration activities, guiding approach and execution while mentoring junior team members. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on experience with a strong foundation in cybersecurity and networking, as well as the ability to provide detailed customer facing briefs.\nResponsibilities\nLead the integration of software components and subsystems across Windows and Linux operating environments\nCreate and deliver customer briefs at key meetings and program reviews\nDrive the design, configuration, and maintenance of virtualized infrastructure and containerized environments (Kubernetes)\nDefine and execute black box and grey box testing strategies to validate system functionality and identify defects\nDevelop and review technical documentation including test procedures, integration guides, and system configuration records\nArchitect and implement scripting and automation solutions to support integration and DevOps workflows\nServe as the technical point of contact for integration issues, coordinating across engineering teams to resolve complex problems\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior integrators\nLead configuration management practices and enforce version control standards\nOversee system builds, deployments, and environment provisioning\nEvaluate and recommend tools, processes, and best practices to improve integration efficiency and quality\nSupport cybersecurity compliance efforts including certificate management, PKI infrastructure, and secure system configurations\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field\n5+ years of experience in software integration, systems integration, or a closely related technical role\nStrong knowledge of cybersecurity principles with emphasis on PKI, certificate management, and secure communications\nSolid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, VPNs, network troubleshooting)\nHands-on experience with both Windows and Linux system administration\nProficiency in one or more scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)\nExperience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar)\nExperience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)\nDemonstrated ability to lead technical efforts and coordinate across teams\nExceptional attention to detail and advanced problem-solving skills\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, Ansible, etc.)\nExperience writing and optimizing database queries (SQL)\nRelevant cybersecurity certifications (Security+, CISSP, CEH, or similar)\nExperience with PKI architecture, certificate lifecycle management, and TLS/SSL implementation\nKnowledge of network security tools and practices (IDS/IPS, SIEM, vulnerability scanning)\nExperience with mobile technologies and mobile device integration\nPrior experience in a technical lead or team lead capacity\nFamiliarity with DoD or government systems integration environments\nIdentifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation\nOur Commitment to You:\nAn exciting career path with opportunities for continuous learning and development. \nResearch oriented work, alongside award winning teams developing practical solutions for our nation’s security\nFlexible schedules with every other Friday off work, if desired (9/80 schedule)\nCompetitive benefits, including 401k matching, flex time off, paid parental leave, healthcare benefits, health & wellness programs, employee resource and social groups, and more\nSee more at gdmissionsystems.com/careers/why-work-for-us/benefits\nWorkplace Options: This position is on site.While on-site, you will be a part of the Groton Connecticut team.\nSalary Note\nThis estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.).
