We apply advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, AR/VR, Cloud Native and Quantum Physics to solve our customers’ missions in cyber, RF, undersea, interstellar space and everything in between.\nAs a Senior Test Engineer, you’ll participate in the update and execution of test plans, test procedures and possibly test harnesses for systems of systems. You'll be developing and conducting functional, operational, environmental, and/or performance tests on hardware, software and systems.\nUtilizing your expert knowledge and understanding of test engineering concepts and principles, the tests you'll define and conduct will ensure proper operation of systems developed in an agile development process.You'll be expected to:\nDevelop top-notch deliverable test plans and test procedures\nConduct iterative, structured integration and testing in a lab environment on a scheduled, regular basis\nConduct scenario and performance testing: automate realistic training scenarios, including multiple participants, engagement events, degraded communications, and validation of latency, throughput, and event accuracy\nTroubleshoot and report defects: Analyze logs, packet captures, timestamps; reproduce failures; and document actionable defects\nInteract with a wide variety of functional representatives during all phases of development\nHelp troubleshoot and/or gather sufficient data to conduct troubleshooting of issues found\nInteract with customer representatives on a regular basis prior to and during formal testing events\nOccasionally travel to customer sites for integration, fielding and acceptance testing of hardware and software systems\nDocument formal test results\nWhat you’ll experience:\nTechnologies that aren’t just top-notch, they’re often top-secret\nA team of bold thinkers committed to exploring what’s next\nOpportunities to gain new knowledge - as it’s discovered\nWhat you bring to the table:\nA Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree\nSolid knowledge in use and understanding of test engineering concepts, principles, and theories\nSolid knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming, system processes and scripting languages\nAutomated test execution: Ability to select and configure test suites, manage test data, develop and execute unattended runs, monitor results, and distinguish system defects from test-script or environment failures\nOpenly proposes ideas that enhance productivity and efficiency, solicits input, and optimizes solutions\nStrong written and oral communication skills\n Strong technical writing abilities\nWhat sets you apart:\nTeam player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success, meeting and exceeding personal and team commitments\nAbility to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity\nCommitment to ongoing professional development\nIdentifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation\nSalary Note\nThis estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.).
