Does not typically perform the work supervised\nMust have any type of one direct report or more\nSets priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with other supervisors\nProblem solving is guided by policies and procedures; receives guidance and oversight from manager\nConsistent exercise of discretion & judgment\nEssential Functions\nSupervises programs and activities within the quality assurance functions of the organization. \nOversees audit or inspection processes meant to monitor compliance with established quality standards. \nAdministers policies and programs ensuring that organizational products and processes meet established quality standards. \nParticipates in the development, implementation, and administration of an organizational quality management system and monitors progress against strategic quality-related goals. \nSupervises the work of a team of analysts that collect data identifying potential quality failures, evaluate quality of raw materials or components, in-progress goods, processes or operations, and implement and measure the impact of corrective actions. \nSolicits internal and external feedback with the goal of continuously improving processes or products. \nLeads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & Senior Leadership. \nRequired Qualifications\nRequired education and experience: Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience\n Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)\nPreferred Qualifications\nPreferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree\nDiscipline/Major: Quality Management, Engineering or Business degree preferred\n Knowledge, skills & abilities: Ability to work as part of a team.
