If who we are and what we do resonates with you, we invite you to join our high-performance team!Job Summary\nPerforms preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems (e.g., mechanical, electrical) | Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve availability, capability and yield | Performs equipment failure analyses (including preventive and unscheduled maintenance) | Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems | Prepares technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance proceduresImpact of the Role\nGeneral Profile\nWorking supervisor of a team (spends a portion of time performing the work supervised) or supervises the daily activities of production team members\nMust have one or more of any direct report type\nAnalyses information to solve on-going problems and implements procedures and approaches to complete work \nResponsible for results of the team\nProvides direction to team using extensive knowledge of established precedents and practices\nConsistent exercise of discretion & judgment\nEssential Functions\nSupervises a crew performing routine preventive maintenance and safety inspection operations for a plant's mechanical equipment, control systems or power distribution systems. \nFollows a daily and weekly schedule to effectively assign maintenance and repair tasks and may use a work order system to track work orders. \nOversees preventive maintenance, repair, inspection, and calibration processes to identify wear, damage, or leaks, replace filters or belts, or apply lubrication to mechanical devices. \nSelects, schedules, and coordinates vendors and outside service providers for specialized repairs or maintenance projects. \nMaintains a replacement and spare part inventory at required levels. \nTrains and coaches the team. \nEnsures all work and material handling follow established safety procedures and regulations. \nLeads and directs the work of other employees and has some responsibility for personnel actions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions with concurrence from the HR Directors & General Managers.\nRequired Qualifications\nRequired education and experience: Associate's Degree and 3-5 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience\n Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)\nPreferred Qualifications\nPreferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree\n Knowledge, skills & abilities: Automation Calibration.
