If who we are and what we do resonates with you, we invite you to join our high-performance team!Job Summary\nSets up and operates automatic or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation | Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications | Reports any malfunctions or abnormalities and makes minor adjustments and repairs to equipment | Performs all work in accordance with established safety proceduresImpact of the Role\nGeneral Profile\nWorking supervisor of a team (spends a portion of time performing the work supervised) or supervises the daily activities of production team members\nMust have one or more of any direct report type\nAnalyses information to solve on-going problems and implements procedures and approaches to complete work \nResponsible for results of the team\nProvides direction to team using extensive knowledge of established precedents and practices\nConsistent exercise of discretion & judgment\nEssential Functions\nSupervises production operations for assigned units or during an assigned shift. \nSupervises workers that operate production machinery, assemble items, perform quality control, or package goods for shipment. \nNotifies maintenance or engineering departments when equipment requires maintenance or repair. \nMonitors output of assigned area(s) against established schedules or quality goals. Coordinates the flow of work through the department and ensures that department has sufficient levels of inventory to meet demand and is staffed appropriately. \nLeads and directs the work of other employees and has some responsibility for personnel actions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions with concurrence from the HR Directors & General Managers. \nRequired Qualifications\nRequired education and experience: Associate's Degree and 3-5 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience\n Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)\nPreferred Qualifications\nPreferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree\nDiscipline/Major: Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or Business degree preferred\n Knowledge, skills & abilities: Ability to work as part of a team. Decision-making skills. Problem/situation analysis. Project management skills.
