Given the nature of our work and who we are, we value trust, honesty, alignment and transparency.\n Help keep complex projects on track, on budget and moving forward...\nWe’re looking for a Project Controller to join our team and provide project controls support across a range of projects and programmes.\nWorking closely with Project Managers, Lead Engineers and Finance Managers, you’ll play an important role in helping project teams understand performance, identify risks and make informed decisions.\nYou’ll bring together scheduling, cost, resource, risk and Earned Value information to provide a clear picture of project progress and highlight where action may be required.\nThis is a great opportunity for someone with experience in a controlled project or programme environment who enjoys working with data, collaborating with different stakeholders and turning detailed project information into meaningful insight.\nThere is also an opportunity to help us improve the way we work through automation, AI and data-driven reporting, identifying smarter and more efficient approaches to project controls.\nWhat you’ll be doing...\nAs a Project Controller, you’ll work closely with Project Managers, Engineering and Finance teams to provide accurate project information and help keep projects on track.\nYou’ll be responsible for:\nCreating and maintaining resourced project schedules, tracking milestones, critical paths and progress against baseline.\nMonitoring project costs, budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and highlighting potential issues.\nSupporting Earned Value Management (EVM), producing performance reports and working with project teams to address variances.\nMaintaining accurate resource plans, monitoring demand and identifying potential capacity or skills gaps.\nManaging project risks, maintaining risk registers, tracking mitigation actions and supporting regular risk reviews.\nProducing clear project performance reporting across schedule, cost, risk, resources and Earned Value.\nSupporting effective change control, ensuring changes to project baselines are documented and formally approved.\nIdentifying opportunities to improve project controls through automation, reporting tools\nWhy join us?\nThis is an opportunity to work at the heart of project delivery, gaining exposure across multiple projects and working alongside colleagues from Project Management, Engineering and Finance.\nYou’ll have the opportunity to develop your project controls experience while helping us evolve the way we plan, measure and report project performance, including exploring new approaches through automation, data and AI.\n What we’re looking for...\nYou’ll ideally have:\nPrevious experience working within a project controls, project support, PMO or controlled project environment.\nExperience creating, maintaining and reporting project schedules using Microsoft Project.\nGood analytical skills, with the ability to interpret project data and identify trends or variances.\nAn understanding of project cost control, forecasting, risk and resource management.\nExperience or knowledge of Earned Value Management would be beneficial.\nStrong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.\nExperience of, or familiarity with, automated reporting tools and techniques.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work across Project Management, Engineering and Finance teams.\nExperience working with or familiarity with AI/ML models is preferred \nIdentifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation\n Salary for this position is £32,400 to £40,500, depending on experience plus our excellent flexible benefits package.\nWe offer hybrid working - for this role ideally we are looking for an average of 2 days per week per month on site.\nWe pride ourselves in being a great place to work with a shared sense of purpose, offering impressive benefits:\nA compressed nine-day fortnight and compressed hours - which means every other Friday off. \nA personalized career development plan, alongside regular progress reviews - supporting and valuing your progression within the Company. \nA flexible working environment where your contributions are recognized and rewarded with flexible benefits \nWe believe in maintaining a diverse workplace - inclusive of beliefs, cultural background, job experiences, thoughts and ideas.
