Recent success has resulted in General Dynamics developing the next generation of Advanced High Performance, Safety Critical Mission Computer Systems to meet the needs of latest platforms in development by several aircraft manufacturers. These Mission Computing Systems provide the functionality that integrates aircraft systems, sensor systems and stores management systems with the information and control systems required by the aircrew to meet the demanding operational needs of these aircraft.\n An exciting opportunity to join General Dynamics, a leading-edge defence company, as a Senior Production Test & Repair Engineer. This position, would allow you to play an important role in our innovative Test Development team, working on avionics and possibly on land based armoured vehicle communication systems.\nJoin a team responsible for testing, fault diagnosis and repair of advanced avionics and mission-critical electronic systems. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on investigating product failures, diagnosing faults to component level, carrying out repair activities and supporting the resolution of complex electronic assembly failures.\nWe are particularly interested in engineers with strong electronics troubleshooting experience, including PCB fault-finding, schematic interpretation, root cause analysis and component-level repair.\nDefence experience is not essential.
