This position will be responsible for the assembly and startup of all equipment. Communication with customers and functional organizations within the company is an important part of this position.\nJob Responsibilities\nFits and assembles machinery components according to assembly blueprints, manuals, engineering memos, sketches, and knowledge of machine construction to construct, rebuild, and repair machines and equipment.\nOperate jib, overhead crane, air/hand-powered tools, and forklift.\nAbility to problem solve new assembly problems as they arise and help to determine workable solutions.\nAdapt, perform, and communicate in a fast-paced, high mix/low volume fabrication shop environment.\nAbility to measure with, read, and comprehend measuring devices such as tape measures, calipers, radius gages, go/no-go gages.\nAbility to measure in feet and inches to 1/31” with a standard tape measure is a must.\nRecord production and inspection activities in computer-based business systems/programs.\nBe aware of the importance of using correct lifting techniques.\nConduct test runs with completed tools to ensure that parts meet specifications; make adjustments as necessary.\nUnderstand and follow procedures that comply with Company policies.\nRequirements\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent is required.\nMinimum of three (3) years of work-related experience is preferred.\nMust have a basic set of mechanic tools.\nStrong mechanical ability and blueprint reading with evidence of related experience is required.\nPrior welding, hydraulic, and electrical experience preferred.\nAbility to lift up to 70 lbs. continuously, climb, crouch, and crawl above and below equipment\nAble to speak, read and write the English language.\nStrong communication skills and attention to detail is a must.\nGood work ethic.\nPay: $23.00 to $28.00 hourly.
