This role is responsible for managing scope, budget, schedule, and risk, ensuring on-time delivery and customer satisfaction for complex, custom-engineered equipment and system installations.\nResponsibilities / Duties\nManage the full project lifecycle for capital equipment orders, including design, manufacturing, shipping, installation, and commissioning.\nServe as the primary point of contact for internal teams and customers throughout the project.\nDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets; monitor progress and take corrective action as needed.\nCoordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, field service, and quality.\nLead project kickoff meetings, design reviews, and regular status updates with stakeholders.\nIdentify and manage project risks and develop mitigation plans.\nEnsure all customer requirements and contractual obligations are met.\nMaintain detailed project documentation and reporting using project management tools.\nSupport project financial performance through cost tracking, change management, and invoicing milestones.\nDrive continuous improvement in project execution processes and tools.\nFully support the Company’s ISO objectives, policies, procedures, and the GK WAY program.\nUtilize analytical skills and experience to make independent decisions.\nFoster cooperation and collaboration among team members.\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field (MBA or PMP certification is a plus).\n5 -10+ years of experience managing complex industrial projects, preferably in capital equipment, machinery, or heavy manufacturing industries.\nStrong technical acumen with the ability to understand mechanical design, manufacturing processes, and installation challenges.\nProven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple concurrent projects.\nExcellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.\nWorking knowledge of CAD (Autodesk products) is preferred.\nProficiency in project management software (MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent) and ERP systems.\nWillingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings, site visits, and equipment commissioning\nExperience with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing is preferred.\nSolid “Value Focused” customer service skills.\nDemonstrate objectivity, professionalism, integrity, and honesty in dealing with people at all levels and facilitates an environment for open and honest discussion.\nPay/Benefits:\nPay: $100,000 to $125,000 paid annually. The range provided is a guideline and not a guarantee of compensation.
