You will perform data and business intelligence testing, create and execute test cases, validate data, and partner with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to resolve defects. Reporting to the Manager - Quality Engineering, this is a great opportunity to grow your data quality assurance skills in a collaborative, fast-paced Digital and Technology environment.\nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES\nPerform data testing and business intelligence testing, applying knowledge of data warehouse (BigQuery on GCP) concepts to validate data solutions.\nCreate, execute, and maintain test cases and test data, and document testing activities, results, and evidence.\nWrite and execute SQL queries to validate, reconcile, and compare data across source systems and targets.\nPerform data validation and root-cause analysis to identify, investigate, and help resolve data quality issues.\nManage defects and collaborate with developers and business analysts to enable efficient, high-quality testing.\nSupport delivery and governance by ensuring required sign-offs on deliverables and adherence to established quality processes.\nGenerate accurate metrics and productivity reports on time, providing clear insight into testing performance.\nDeliver high-quality work that meets or surpasses stakeholder expectations while communicating clearly and responsively.\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nEducation : Full-time graduation from an accredited university in computer science or related field.\nExperience : 3 to 5 years of experience in data testing or software quality assurance.\nStrong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis abilities.\nStrong understanding of the software development life cycle and multiple software engineering and testing methodologies.\nProficiency in SQL, database testing, and business intelligence testing.\nExperience creating test cases and testing documentation from requirements or specifications, including projects with limited development documentation.\nFamiliarity with issue-tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.\nWell-developed communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to complete tasks accurately.\nSelf-motivated and detail-oriented, with a continuous-improvement mindset and the ability to perform well in a fast-paced, changing environment.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in computer science and related fields.\n\nAdvanced capability in agile testing, test management, and database testing, including SQL.\n\nWorking knowledge of extract-transform-load (ETL) processes, test design techniques, and test planning.\n\nFoundational knowledge of application programming interface testing.\n\nISTQB certification.\n\nExperience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and related services such as BigQuery or Cloud Functions.\n\nKnowledge of big data concepts, data warehouse structures, extract-transform-load processes, and data architecture principles.\n\nBasic knowledge of Python programing.\n\nExposure to usage of GenAI tools in testing\n\nFamiliarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines and DevOps methodologies.\n\nExperience working in an offshoring environment and demonstrated alignment with General Mills values.\n\nELIGIBILITY\nApplicants must meet minimum age qualifications in the country
