Please be aware that some schedules may include up to six days a week.\nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES\nAs part of our manufacturing team, you will:\nInstall, maintain, repair, and replace industrial processing and packaging machinery, work tools, and equipment, including wiring, circuits, fuses, switches, motors, AC/DC motor drives, and circuit boards\nConduct preventive maintenance on electrical systems, including motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), PLCs, sensors, and other control devices\nPerform electrical troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of industrial machinery and control systems to quickly resolve equipment issues and reduce downtime\nRead and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, equipment manuals, and work orders to plan and complete work.\nSafely work on energized and de-energized circuits in accordance with all plant safety procedures and applicable electrical codes.\nSupport root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts to eliminate recurring electrical failures and improve equipment performance.\nCollaborate closely with maintenance, operations, engineering, and other plant teams to plan work, prioritize tasks, and support production needs.\nAccurately document work performed, parts used, and findings in the computerized maintenance management system.\nMaintain tools, test equipment, and work areas in clean, safe, and organized condition.\nAssists in training new employees as needed\nAttend meetings and training courses as required\nPerform additional related tasks as assigned\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nHigh school diploma or GED\nMinimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment is required\nDemonstrated experience with industrial electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair of motors, drives, and control circuits.\nAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.\nExperience with PLC’s, VFD’s or Instrumentation a plus\nComputer skills: Proficiency in standard computer software is required (e.g., navigating Windows-based programs, completing basic data entry, using email and maintenance or inventory systems).\nMust possess the ability to understand and effectively communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and others in the workplace regarding work matters (our business is generally conducted in English)\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs\nAbility to stand, walk, climb, bend, push, pull, and twist for extended periods\nWillingness to work in hot, cold, noisy, wet, or dusty conditions\nAbility to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms\nAbility to follow human and food safety, quality, and grooming standards\nAbility to wear such as protective clothing and equipment (Personal Protective Equipment -PPE) such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard/bump cap, hair/beard net, gloves, and face masks (when required)\nAbility to work around high-speed machinery and food allergens\n\nELIGIBILITY\nApplicants must meet a minimum 18-year age qualification.\n\nEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER (EOE)\nGeneral Mills is an equal opportunity employer.
