If you want to be part of a team that will learn and grow, develop leadership skills, drive results quickly, work within a safety-first mindset, and expand your technical capabilities, then GMI is a great place to start!\nWhat We Have to Offer\n$18.30/hour starting pay$2.00/hour additional pay for 3rd shift\n\nUp to 120 hours (15 days) vacation annually (depending on schedule)\n11 paid company holidays\n401(k) with company match\nMedical, dental, life insurance\nCareer growth and cross-training opportunities\nYour Work Schedule and Shift Information\n8-hour shifts\n3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 10:30 PM - 6:30 PM \n* Hours can vary by duty; occasional weekends and holidays may be required\nSaturday and Sunday are part of the required work schedule with 1 to 2 days off during the week\nMust be willing to work overtime, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed\nPlant operates 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.\nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES\nAs part of our manufacturing team, you will:\nOperate effectively in a fast-paced production line environment, performing diverse tasks such as bagging, stacking, counting products, placing doughballs on spotters, feeding paper, operating a bandsaw, boxing finished products, and placing cases on pallets\nAccurately label boxes and bags\nActively participate in a fair and consistent line rotation to perform various job tasks efficiently\nMaintain a safe, organized, and clean working environment at all times\nEnsure proper control and care of all assigned equipment and tools\nExecute production shutdown procedures and comprehensive clean-up of the food production line\nPerform cleaning and sanitation of production areas and equipment using appropriate cleaning solutions and hand tools, following established protocols\nStrictly adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements\nComply with all company safety rules, regulations, and complete necessary documentation\nAdhere to all company policies and procedures, both written and verbal\nClean and operate all equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)\nAssist in the training and onboarding of new employees, fostering a supportive team environment\nBe willing and able to assist in other areas of the plant as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nBasic understanding of English or Spanish for safety instructions and team communication\nPhysical capability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally, and perform tasks requiring standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting for extended periods\nComfortable working at heights (up to 10 ft), around high-speed machinery, and in hot or cold, fast-paced conditions\nAbility to work in an environment with common food allergens\nAbility to follow human and food safety, quality, and grooming standards\nAbility to wear such as protective clothing and equipment (Personal Protective Equipment -PPE) such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard/bump cap, hair/beard net, gloves, and face masks (when required)\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nManufacturing or production experience\n\nELIGIBILITY\nApplicants must meet a minimum 18-year age qualification.\n\nEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER (EOE)\nGeneral Mills is an equal opportunity employer.
